Hi all,
are there any nice spas/resorts where you could land a wheel plane, preferably in the prairies? Or alternatively, an airport very close to the spa?
I found a few in BC and Ontario, but nothing in the prairies soo far.

Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, CJS4. 2,954 ft. paved runway oriented 13/31. Located 7 miles ENE of the city. A taxi will pick you up. Phone 306-631-2706. The city of Moose Jaw has a hot spring, casino and spa hotel, plus tours of Al Capone's under ground tunnels that connect to his network of prohibition era "bitnesses". The city of Moose Jaw has a couple of good museums as well. Canada's RCAF Jet Demonstration team "Snow Birds" are based just south of the city, at CYMJ. https://www.templegardens.sk.ca/index.p ... RQEALw_wcB. Only fly to this aerodrome in good to very good VMC. DO NOT fly to CJS4 aerodrome in marginal WX conditions.
Watrous, Saskatchewan, CKU7, 07/25, a 2,500 foot long clay/gravel airstrip. This is a clear sky, calm wind aerodrome. Unless of course you are a crop sprayer... The airstrip is located equidistant from the spa and town, approx 4 miles east of Manitou Beach, known as Canada's "Dead Sea", as the adjacent Manitou Lake has a high salt content. The 4-Star rated hotel, spa and restaurant are superb. The massages are to die for. Mike's Beach Bar, across the street from the spa resort hotel is a 4.5 Star rated pub. A taxi will pick you up. Phone 306-917-9998.
