You are talking as if there was an engine failure just prior to Vr, which if I am correct, there was not!
Disco...if you're approaching V1 all is good. Prior to reaching Vr your #2 engine blows up with 500' left on the rwy with a 100' brick wall at the end of the rwy......you're at gross weight and it's 45*C.....
.....at what point would you consider retracting your comment about Hamilton as a City that blows more than Toronto, you know...to clean your conscience and stuff before meeting St. Peter face to face?

BTW....St. Petie is a 'friend of ours'

Are you trying to convince me that Hamilton does not blow more than Toronto?

I have spent time in both, and Hamilton definitely blows more.

Yeah Loc, cause you're an expert and you were there in the cockpit to see it all!? A crew aborted a takeoff and blew some tires...why is this even a thread on this site. NEXT!

Well a lot of pilots probably wonder what caused that event to have taken place.

Unless blowing tires is a non event.

To be more specific, I guess everyone likes to share these things to maybe learn from them.

Hey, no Cat .. Centerstored is right .. he's always right, an Aviation God .. Lets all bow to his huge cranium of knowledge ... Please oh Lord of Aviation .. Grace us with your reasons for the actions taken that day .. Lets not move past till your words have fallen upon our ears ...

Does that sum up how much your comments mean to me?

Tires blowing being a "non-event" of course its an event! .. (you say it like its normal to happen everyday) .. and its one that the everyday pilot wants to enquire about to know what happened and why .. so that maybe YOU or I or anyone else can avoid or not make the same mistake.

So enjoy the circuit and shut up ....

I guess I should add WHY I say its lack of experience .. after speaking to people who work and fly at PAG, and there description of those events .. that is when I made my opinions and shared them with you ... if you don't lik'em .. tough .. you're going to hear them anyways ... G'day ...

Hey, Localizer, I've tangled as.holes with Centerstored before and probably will again.

I just am not comfortable with aircraft incidents where people just try and sweep it under the carpet so to speak.

How can anyone benefit from hiding the facts behind any aircraft incident?

It is not about blame, it is about learning from others missfortunes.
