Apple juice, CC and ginger root.
Bring it to a slow boil, MMMMMMMMM
Really good for after a long x-country ski.
Can be made in large quantity.

I googled hot toddy and found this, although I can't see why it would help keep you from getting the flu. However since you love bandaid, it might also make you feel better.

1 Mug almost boiling water
1 shot Crow Royal
1 tablespoon of brown sugar

If you can't sleep after drinking a couple of these then you really do need to see a doctor.

2 packs of neo citron
2 shots of rum
fill with boiling water
Add a little lemon or lime if you like.

I usually pass out before I even get the whole thing down and I wake up feeling great.

A pharmisist from walmart told me about this treat.

I had a KILLER one in Mexico:

-juice of 5 limes
-4 tbs sugar
-fill the rest of the glass with tequilla

I thought that my throat was on fire. They're crazy down there!

Sounds lethal,
Hot toddy usually in indicative of the temperature of the drink and not that of a cold drink that burns all the way down.
My dad used to use the 2 hat cure for a cold. You would get one hat put it on your bedpost and jump into bed with a bottle of scotch. You drink til you see two hats, you wake up with such a hangover by the time it resolves your cold is gone

Bandaid. I've done that with the patented, "Haza Twelve Beer Cure for the Common Cold". It works but it feels like you've been booted in the face with Kodiaks the next day.
