What I don't understand is why the level headed people here, keep feeding into these people who are still pro vaccine, pro restrictions, pro pandemic... Anyone who can see through the BS knows that this will end soon, enough people are starting to wake up, England is officially going back to pre covid, with ZERO covid measures, including the need to self isolate by law if you do get covid. The federal government has awarded three companies with contracts worth up to $631 million in total for COVID-19 border testing and other screening services.
Public Services and Procurement Canada says Switch Health, LifeLabs and Dynacare are carrying out testing of international travellers entering Canada at airports and land border crossings.
Department spokesman Gabriel Leboeuf says the companies provide comprehensive testing services, including appointment booking, test administration and results management.
He says they also provide further testing support for temporary foreign workers, refugees, asylum seekers and international students.
Switch Health is responsible for testing services in Ontario, Alberta and Atlantic Canada with a contract worth up to $440 million, followed by LifeLabs in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Yukon with a contract worth up to $111 million, and Dynacare in Quebec and Manitoba with a contract worth up to $80 million.

It now has closer to 80, a fleet of about 40 vans — or, in the company’s parlance, Mobile Rapid Testing Units (MRTUs) — and more than 35 large clients, including the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., a board of directors featuring a former federal health minister, and much bigger plans for post-pandemic health care.

Frustrations and conflicts tied to the trucker convoy in Ottawa are spilling over onto new fronts Thursday, with police reporting "a concerted effort to flood" 911 lines, protesters mobilizing at the local airport and hackers taking aim at city council.
Earlier in the day, city officials had warned of traffic disruptions at the city's international airport as the trucker convoy encamped across the city enters its 14th day, and some members appeared to be encircling the airport.
That now appears to have ended, but it remains unclear whether the group will move to a different site or return to the airport.
Ottawa police had told Global News they are "aware" of the convoy's presence at the airport and shortly after, issued a tweet warning of attempts to target emergency lines.
"We are aware of a concerted effort to flood our 911 and non-emergency policing reporting line. This endangers lives and is completely unacceptable," the police service said.

If someone came at me with a vehicle I might have done something as well. Plus - was the altercation just the attempt possibly to run the trucker down? Not enough information from our wonderful County Mounties.

Is factually incorrect and therefore should be illegal.
Should be:
"Both men involved in altercation in "Freedom Convoy" in Central Alberta charged".
Lets call it correctly.
If someone came at me with a vehicle I might have done something as well. Plus - was the altercation just the attempt possibly to run the trucker down? Not enough information from our wonderful County Mounties.
Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian is usually reserved for a vehicle vs human altercation.
Pretty sure that the Corrupt Press doesn't want to put this all over CBC - MSN - Global - City - etc. - because it probably won't play out very well.

Polling shows the libs and dips highly support mandates, whether it’s mandatory masking, vaccines, passports……all of it. The LPC sets the tone, and so far, what they’ve shown is continued mandates…..despite the science.

In Canada, most of the USA is doing away with the mask as the days go by.
So if you don't support the mandatory mask, do you still support the vaccine pass? If your answer is no, leaving all else aside, why not support the idea of this trucker convoy? Forget some of the bad apples and extremists, those will always exist in any sort of high profile protest, they always have, one just needs to look at historical protests pre covid to see that... The whole narrative of this convoy went from trucker vaccine mandate, to general mandate for all in Canada. This general principle should be at this point in time supported by all. England has done away with every single rule as I mentioned before, and other democratic countries have slowly followed suit. It's time the same happens here, we've all had enough, we know covid isn't going away, and as cliché as it sounds, we will need to learn to live with it... If someone is scared, they can stay inside, most people aren't anymore
