I don’t know where you got the 44% number but let’s go with it. Now subtract 44 from 100. What result do you get? Is that number larger than 44? No? There you go.

I was wrong. It's actually 54% as per this Angus Reid poll from January 31. My apologies.

For comparison the Liberals got 32.6% of the popular vote during the last election, which is why I say 44% would be more than enough to seal the deal.

The Canadian banking system has some fairly sophisticated measures to track the movement of funds - think about how the police follow drug money and organized crime proceeds crossing the border.

It shouldn’t be too hard to track the money into Canada and sequester it, blocking it or withdrawing it from recipients’ accounts, as the proceeds of crime.

Bitcoin is great, but you can’t pay your mortgage or grocery bill with it, and at some point you have to buy $CAD.

I would have to assume TC and other regulatory bodies peruse these pages regularly looking for safety related intelligence for their meetings...talk of illegal currency activities and overthrowing an democratically elected government would seem to be a cause for concern if the general public were made aware of the type of conversations that go on on Avcanada, most specifically this thread...I would assume regulators understand it would put the public at grave risk if a conflict in the cockpit or in the hangar broke out due to political differences, that would be bad!
