Skydive Toronto
I see these guys are in the Employment section again. They state a course is required, if so, make sure they are paying you to take the said course and not the other way around.
Re: Skydive Toronto
They're calling it an "Independent contractor position" now. Wow.

Any decent organisation should offer paid training to the chosen applicant/s.

Nobody has ever accused Skydive Toronto of being a decent organisation!shamrock104 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 10:54 am Any decent organisation should offer paid training to the chosen applicant/s.

Re: Skydive Toronto
Have there been bad experiences with Skydive Toronto? Did they really make people pay FOR training in the past?!

Re: Skydive Toronto
they want $2700 + hst for the course plus a non-refundable deposit of $280 just "so that your place in the course is ensured"
Re: Skydive Toronto
They take in way more than they need for the “course” and end up taking a handful. Can’t believe he’s been doing that for over 25 years. Back when I was starting out the “course” was only $495 but it included a parachute jump.
