I'm looking at the merits of installing ADS-B out in my aircraft, specifically for trips to the US. I was wondering if anyone on here has used the ADS-B Deviation Authorization Pre-Flight Tool (ADAPT) while flying through ADS-B airspace in the US and how that experience went. I have flown aircraft other than my own, in non-ADS-B airspace in the US with no problems.
Not interested in doing a diversity installation yet as I'm waiting for the TailBeacon X to be certified on my aircraft. Also waiting to see if diversity will even be required.

Re: ADS-B Deviation Authorization Pre-Flight Tool (ADAPT)
You can use it for ferrying an airplane for maintenance or to have it installed etc, but it's not a substitute for ADS-B just because you don't want to install it.
