How many days worked?

Post by JetA Burner »

Honestly.

How many days are the 737 guys working? What are you average legs? It seems they use the 37 as a regional jet. Are you guys slagging it out with the odd good trip? Working 10 days a month?

787 guys. Are you one and done......but laying over for a few days? What is the honest days work? 4 day pairings with messed up time zones? We know they fill them up with gas and landing in FRA at 0300. That isn't a quality of life layover. 8 days a month worked?

How much are you guys actually working and how much of you are trying to catch up on sleep because of work?

737 has actually turned the 320 into a regional jet. 737 does lots of transcons that used to be 320 flying. It can't really replace the 321 on a capacity stand point so the 321 still does some transcon flying.

Ultimately at AC the seniority system dictates the senior guys will work 10-11 days tops of day turns (if they want them, some senior guys like layovers, but most of them go on the WB as you can have layovers and more money). The junior guys are generally working weekends (every weekend), late nights and much shorter stage lengths. Ultimately AC uses the planes long and far.

737 sees the Carribean (taking some places that rouge uses to do on the 319), transcons and some etops flying but also does shorter flights as required.
