Flying private to sketchy places can definitely be a little unnerving. Especially when you cant speak the language.
I usually always need to pay the customs officers around $500USD to process us in certain places.
Hopefully they get out soon.

The last time I was in a foreign prison my nick-name was bishop because the bishop was the chess piece they stuck into my ass. I was just glad I was not nick-named the queen.

That reeks of corruption. The only reason a government official would arrest a pilot who reported finding drugs on their own plane, is if that official knew there were drugs on the plane already.

Reports now is that maint found the first bag stashed in the avionics bay, not the pilots. Then the police pulled the plane apart. That's the reason they're all in jail right now.
Can't wait to hear down the road who's been organizing it and who's just taking a cut. I doubt anyone's just complicit, and I feel badly for anyone who had no idea at all, and are suddenly in a shitstorm that's going to follow them for a long time.
