Cher: They say our love won't pay the rent
Before it's earned, our money's all been spent
Sonny: I guess that's so, we don't have a pot
But at least I'm sure of all the things we got
I voted "job," but that said... it all really depends on what we're talking about. What job? A good operation you're happy at, or a job you don't much enjoy in a place you don't like? And what relationship? A girlfriend you've had a year or two, or a woman you've been married to for ten years?
exactly - if its a relationship thats gonna last theres got to be give and take. if the job will better your future employment opportunities and earning potential the right one will play ball and adapt. just dont ask her to move to the middle east and wear a burka
I has never been a question for me. It is always family first. Jobs come and go, the only constant in my life has been my family.
You only have one kick at this life make sure it is spent in the company of people you love.
The answer to this post should be a no-brainer. If it's a use - use relationship, as most are these days, obviously the job will always come first. If it's not use - use, your probably not in aviation, so no problem

Who needs a heart when you have a greyhound with wings? You can go be airplane driver, and come home to pick cat hairs out of your lean cuisine. Anyone who said 'flying job' will regret it oneday, as truly, you can have both with the right person. Just ask cat driver.
To quote Jam Master Jay
"Money is the key to end all your woes
Your ups, your downs, your highs and your lows
Won't you tell me the last time that love bought you clothes?"
Gotta be the Job

The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re a pilot.
Well? How about.. forget about a relationship until you can commit to one? Guess that doesn't work for anyone already married or so forth BEFORE starting to fly.
Should be able to have both, as long as it's a partnership and not a competition.

Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace. The soul that knows it not, knows no release from the little things; knows not the livid loneliness of fear, nor mountain heights where bitter joy can hear the sound of wings.

I choose relationships..I didn't get into the profession to make lots of money, I did it for because I love to do it. I'm not picky where I work it's all an adventure!
At some point, a woman will issue an ultimatum to you: "It's me or flying".
Thank gawd I don't date women. I'd hate to make that decision.
