Why is it management companies (especially in yyz) are always hiring ames? Do they do this just to keep their options open or are these actual positions that keep needing filling?

There are other smaller ones too. I can’t find any information out about these places, not even salary. The only information I got was from third and fourth hand information through people I know and forums like this one. Is this like a secret society of ames or something? Lol. I legit want to know more about this area of the industry as I’d give it a try if I wasn’t so nervous… can someone reply and or DM me about these places? Is anyone out there working at the larger places? I’ve had pilots message me but no ames. Not even pilots can attest to what the work is like just that the ames are always busy.

So maxed right out as a lead AME and acad on all four types equates to 47.50/hr or 98,800 per annum. That’s while working universal shifts in the gta….
