Re: Hurricane IAN
As long as we're not hitting the 15kt crosswind FTU limit we can fly!
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Re: Hurricane IAN
Meh. They all had fair warning in order to reposition their aircraft. They rolled the dice and lost. “Nice twins” guess that’s the insurance company’s “gain” at the expense of all other operators whom will subsequently see a premium increase.
NICE EH!

Re: Hurricane IAN
According to a highly reputable source (the internet) that I have don't absolutely nothing to verify, most of those planes were ones that the owners had attempted to move out of Ian's path only to have them destroyed by a freak tornado days ahead of the storm. I'm sure there will be lots of carnage from Ian itself though.TeePeeCreeper wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 10:28 pmMeh. They all had fair warning in order to reposition their aircraft. Gotta be a strategy there if you can't sell your beat up twin.TeePeeCreeper wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 10:28 pmMeh. They all had fair warning in order to reposition their aircraft.
