STDs and pilot medical

So I had a bit of a layover in Bangkok.
I might have caught an STD of some sort.
I am wondering if I should get tested or not. Will a positive test adversely affect my medical status?

Get treated by a doc as soon as you can. Do not allow it to set in because then it will be a longer road to recovery. Treatment within 48 hours of symptoms is the best. If you wait you could be on a long road of treatment depending what it is.

Discussing the issue with the treatment doc can be embarrassing I suppose but just suck it up. The doc won't care anyways.

If is it gets cleared up, why say anything to your medical examiner? You don't report the flu either?
