Over Capacity

Post by Loon-A-Tic »

Some on this site might feel the late 80's and early 90's and see Canadian aviation industry is rapidly returning to the same over capacity conditions as we had back then. The names may have changed, then it was Air Canada, Canadian, Canjet, Skyservice, Jetsgo to name a few all chasing the same market share. Now its Air Canada, Westjet, Flair, Lynz, Sunwing, Canada Jetlines (maybe) to name a few all chasing the market share.

Is history repeating itself, it won't the first time that Canadian aviation has been down this road.

Probably some mergers/acquisitions in the future. The economy is going to completely go down the drains in 2023 so probably less people able to afford to fly when they can barely afford to eat.
