Never ending PAL ad's...

Post by chowda »

Anybody know the details of this constantly reposted cattle call for Winterpig?

Never any real details, just the usual old wording which tells you basically nothing and they have been posting this ad for over a year now. Only company ahead of them in reposting is HeavyAero, lol.

A family member worked for PAL in the maint dept, not AME, he was glad to leave. On the many job postings not only PAL but others as well there are a lot requiring a Max endorsement or 737 and expecting ACA certs and offering $45 to $50 per hour. Is there not a shortage of experienced guys?

They have a 2.6 out of five star review on indeed and 2.9 out of five on glassdoor, several one star reviews on both websites. A quick search of this place reveals what the problems are, sounds like a revolving door.

They are likely doing ATR and Dash 8 heavy checks for Calm air and Perimeter. CC-295 heavy eventually, last I heard.

Yeah, the important details being pay, perdiums, accomodation, on site transportation, flights, etc and if their ad frequency is related to the aforementioned still sucking, as it always has for PAL.

No particular interest what airplanes are there, just money. :)

I was hoping this thread would shed some light on that. I know of nobody who has worked for them in the last few years.

If I had to guess, its probably sub-fifty an hour with trapdoors in their perdium, travel, and accomodation that suit them.
