Better than being stranded. Not ideal, but they got to their destination only 8 hours late.

Why even book? You're more likely to get to your destination with Flair or Lynx than westjet.

Doubtful. Happy they got home? Yes.

Happy they weren't being refunded for their flights? No.

WJ screwed this up royally. Reputational cost keeps getting smashed. Pretty soon they will be worse than Spirit / Frontier, and that's saying alot.

For anyone that has ever driven Calgary to Regina on Trans Canada, you know exactly how crap that road is during the winter. No thanks. Put me in a hotel in YYC and I'll go the next day. I think the bus was available for those that wanted it. I don't think anyone was forced to take it.
