$60/day perdiems vs the industry standard now of $4.25/hr (aka $102/day)
That's the industry standard? I guess we have some work to do at my company. We get $85 for a full day.
We get $119.75/day at sunwing.

So, are there per diems or shift premiums on top of the new Keewatin salary, or is that just it?

Used to be that you could apply on a Saturday, interview on a Sunday and have the job offer by Monday, but maybe with the new payscale they have a few resumes to sort through now.

What I love the most here is that: Porter just released its new really improved payscale, Keewatin just greatly increased their pay scale. CargoJet has been including bonuses, KFC bumped up pay across the board, WJ pilots are demanding improvements with a serious strike threat. The news has a lot of US companies bumping up pay, finally the industry is moving forward. Everyone is hiring, if your company isn't talking pay increases its a great time to move, if you want to stay, there is a lot of material out there to show your employeer why you should get paid more!
