Future Extinction?

Post by EPR »

With today's demand/need/requirement for Pilots, is there really a need for this "useless self-made HR industry" called.."Talent Acquisition Team"...aka...HR?... Warm, outgoing, authentic, passionate and have a knack for finding and putting the right people in the right jobs? If that's you, we're hiring! (LOL)

We are proud of the company culture we've built as we have grown to over 280 employees in the beautiful province of Saskatchewan. Take your career to the next level working with amazing people and work for a company who gives you a platform to do amazing things.

We are looking for a person with significant recruiting experience with a proven track record in delivery. While this position will be based in Saskatoon, you will have the opportunity to hunt down potential candidates through web-based methods and travel to all our bases in northern Saskatchewan, career fairs and other events across the country.

The mundane details are as follows:

Work closely with direct supervisors to gain a comprehensive understanding of their hiring needs and goals and objectives.
Assist with the development of position descriptions and ensure they are relevant and up to date.
Source candidates by using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
Maintain a database of qualified candidate records that includes active and passive prospects as well as current and former employees.
Screen candidates, schedule and lead interviews, analyze responses and qualifications, and verify references and background checks as required.
Act as a liaison between candidates and the company to maintain open lines of communication throughout the recruitment process.
Together with communications personnel, promote the company and the province through market focused job postings and advertise positions on internal and external sites, including social media.
Participate in career fairs and other events with First Nations partners, schools, colleges, universities, employment agencies, and others to promote employment at Rise Air.
Rise Air offers competitive salary and benefits. Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous applicants. This is a one-year temporary position with an option to renew and we guarantee you won't be bored.

If recruiting is what you do, apply today!
What a bunch of BULLSHIT!
Time to return to a panel of senior Pilots "hiring board", to know what they are looking for!
You think there's a Pilot shortage now..lol

You do realize that companies hire people other than pilots? Once you’ve grown to more than a few employees, it’s better to have someone with training and/or experience in the field.
