Recording logbook landings
Hey all,
For recording take off and landing, is intermediate landing and takeoffs enough or do you need to specifically total up take off and landings while you are PF for the ATPL?
I condense the whole day into one line and put the destinations in the remarks section.
Thanks

Re: Recording logbook landings
I have never once in my life logged how many landings I’ve had.
What goes up must come down.

You need to be able to demonstrate you're current to carry passengers (5 landings in past 6 months etc) if you fly with them and ever get ramp checked.vanislepilot wrote: ↑Wed May 10, 2023 6:46 am I have never once in my life logged how many landings I’ve had.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Re: Recording logbook landings
I dont think a majority of the pilots carry their personal logbook with them.

Re: Recording logbook landings
Landings? What are those?
Isn’t sim/ppc enough proof that you’ve done 5 landings in the last 6 months. I haven’t ever marked a landing in my book since my night rating.
One line per day. That’s the way to not lose your sanity at logbook updating time
