Just before midnight on Monday night 911 call takers received a call advising them of a really low flying airplane in the west end, it was reported that the concerned citizen believed she heard the pilot yelling out the of the airplane for help as it flew very low to the ground. Emergency crews began searching the area from where the 911 call was place towards the direction of the airport. Firefighters and police officer entered the runway area of the airport searching the area using spot lights on their vehicles as paramedics stood by in the parking lot. A security guard on scene was able to review surveillance footage of the area looking for any activity in the area. After just over an hour of searching police believe they had located a plane that safely landed just before their arrival at the airport. The search was called off and first responders departed the airport determining there was no emergency.

Re: Emergency crews respond to Peterborough airport.
So the police entertained the mental health case who hears pilots talking as they land?
And then the police arbitrarily look at airplanes and guess how long it has been since the plane moved? “Oh this one here looks like she’s been tied down all week! Let’s look at the others!”
You guys need to put on your N95s and stop inhaling the camp fire smoke!
