Is part-time work as an ATC an impossibility?
As the title says; is every single ATC/FSS in all of Canada a full-time employee? Is there any possibility at all to potentially only work part time?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Everyone is a full time employee either indeterminate or on contract for a specified period.hopefulguy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 11:27 pm As the title says; is every single ATC/FSS in all of Canada a full-time employee? Is there any possibility at all to potentially only work part time?

I was kinda hoping for 20 hours a week lol. I'd be willing to take 1/3rd the pay for that.

It's not completely off the table some day in the future, but for now, no.
I don't think the company has any desire to put all the resources required into training an employee, and only getting half an employee. They can't catch up to required staffing as it is.
