Got the call for Montreal's IFR Course in January and im extremely exited!!

Hey, I just got the call aswell unfortunately I got wait listed, if you don’t mind me asking when were you eligible for an offer? Personally I got my email yesterday stating I’m eligible for an offer so I was just wondering if perhaps I got lower scores than the other candidates or if the other candidates passed their assessments at an earlier time. Thanks!

Congrats! I know you’re probably disappointed with the wait list offer and not a firm offer. However, it seems quite a lot of people get off the waitlist! Fingers crossed for you

Haha thanks! I really hope I do get off the wait list since it’s my dream job… there’s not a lot of other professions that interest apart from aerodynamics engineering which will take wayyy longer to learn. So I’m hoping to avoid it all tough it sounds fun.

I'm waiting for a call as well. I got marked eligible for offer 2 days ago. I told them my preference was VFR>IFR>FSS. Maybe they only started to call IFR candidates?

I think so, I sent an email with a bunch of questions to ATS and waiting for a reply, I much rather get a firm vfr offer than a wait listed ifr offer. I was also told during the interview there would a course in Ottawa for VFR/FSS… and they brought it up a couple of times so I’m guessing n that’s where the next one would be.

I apologize, I should correct my timeline. The initial test is an AON aptitude test.
