Perimeter vs. Skycare

Post by fox12 »

I'm trying to decide between Perimeter and Skycare for a direct entry First Officer position before applying . Any insights? 🌐

What I'm curious about:

Which has better training and career opportunities?
How's the work environment and company culture?
Reputation & Safety: Safety record and overall reputation?
Personal Growth: Support for further education or training?

Your experiences and advice are golden!

Thanks, folks! ✈️

Perimeter operates dash 8s. Skycare doesn't (unless that changed).

So Perimeter. And if you can, try to get on the Bearskin side of things.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Short answer: whichever one calls you first.

Longer answer: If you happen to get an offer from both, Perimeter hands down.

Perimeter. Better pay, working conditions, union, progression the list goes on. Probably less pressure from the CP or the owner to do sketchy shit at perimeter too.
