Keep away from them. They took my money to approve an STC and they produced nothing. A total rip off and no money to sue.

No you don’t. It’s not on the pilots to make companies “capture” flying. They are the ones responsible for getting work. Paying dues isn’t a thing these days. Do not accept this mentality. Aim high. Carefully think about your career progression and where you want to live, days of month worked, etc.Kennythegreat wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 7:40 am They are just struggling east operator and they are doing their best to make ends meet

Most contracts are available on government of Canada’s website. I suggest you read them all, and decide accordingly.
Also, Kenny just posted his first (and only) post as a troll. Don’t listen

Re: PAL Aerospace
PAL is owned by EIC, I don't think they need anybodys help.
Re: PAL Aerospace
New pay scale coming I hear? Any word on when this will happen?
Re: PAL Aerospace
Good operator, professional and consistent. However, be prepared to work a second job to make rent.

It's laughable that not paying a livable wage is somehow considered the qualify a company as "good" and "professional". Paying poorly is definitely not a professional environment. Does professionalism only go one way?
Re: PAL Aerospace
Any news on their new CA pay scale that is supposed to be coming out?
Re: PAL Aerospace
It’s in negotiations, if you wanna know, apply on the job and they’ll tell you what you wanna know lol

I’ll define it..PeterParker wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 9:36 pmIt's laughable that not paying a livable wage is somehow considered the qualify a company as "good" and "professional". Paying poorly is definitely not a professional environment. Does professionalism only go one way?
Good operator. They don’t skimp or cut corners with parts, procedures, or operations. If you need a spray, spray, it’s not going to make or break a company like some operations used to push. If it needs a tire, it gets a tire. You get paid on time every time. Management is approachable. That’s the definition of a good company.
Professional. Self explanatory in our world, you don’t get pushed for duty dates, are treated, trusted and respected in your authority to do what you do.
Consistent. The job doesn’t vary pilot to pilot, ame to ame. Scheduling is predictable. The same job you did yesterday is the same job tomorrow. You work your shift, allowed to do your thing without micromanagement , work is stress free, vacations get approved and taken.
Pay is what you agree to when you sign the dotted line. Don’t like, try for more, or go elsewhere. Don’t sit on a log and complain about it, especially in today’s environment.
