What are the requirements for a new hire FO to upgrade at jazz?
Obviously ATPL, but how about PIC, time on company aircraft, multi time requirements etc?

No instructors with an ATPL were successful in the upgrade process, one was fired but the rest had to go back and repeat some of the training to be an FO. We even had some very experienced pilots, including with RJ time not make it through.
So no, a pulse won’t help, you need a brain too and if you’re a 1500 hour ATPL holding instructor bidding left seat on an RJ, you lack brain capacity.
The same pilots with a few thousand hours take the FO spot and come back after a year on the aircraft for the left seat have a much higher success rate, not perfect but still higher and from what I’ve seen of some of the new hires, a year won’t be enough.

Nothing official but it's shrinking. The RJ will have only departures to YEG in the fall, and the Q very few departures. Jazz is becoming mainly a YYZ operation.
