Bad news? Compared to what? I cannot say I have heard many complaints from Arctic Sunwest employees, I mean really, it's not a very long wait for a PPC compared to most other places in Yellowknife and they have some decent machinery waiting for them when they do get checked out.

I know a few of their people are on here, I'm sure they can comment better than I can.

While I have no idea of what the bottom end of the pay scale is there, the off-strip otter captains make top dollar in our little world.

They've experienced a lot of steady growth in the past while, with bigger equipment and more of it.

Starting over, I would have pounded on their door long and hard.

From my good friend who spent a few years there, at Arctic: " They gave me my chance to get out of instructing and I learned lots, the easy and the hard way!! It was fun and when I cought up to the pace of the Frozen land, I found that it was the hardest place to leave! "
