I haven’t seen any new hires awarded Ejet since June and early July, they are training some upgrades from in house, maybe they’ll just operate what they can and phase them out, who knows.CaptDukeNukem wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 2:11 pmI understand this…. But you still need trainers. And especially trainers for the E1 are dropping like flies. The company will do what is required. That has been made more than clear regarding many contractual obligations.cdnavater wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 10:41 amNot really, if there is no one, 10% of no one is zero. Now I imagine they would round up, can’t have half a contract trainer, however I don’t know what that would look like, eg; 5 EJet trainers would be .5, maybe only allowing for a part time contract. If you have 10 trainers on a type you can have 1 contract trainer for that type. I know the language states 2 half time contract trainers equal 1 full time.
I guess maybe not as many are required since a substantial amount of jets are parked. Anyone who taxied an airplane in YUL down alpha would agree.

Anyone know when the next Groundschools for 2023 are slated to be?
As well, what experience level/ where the new candidates are coming from?
Thx

I’m in ground school starting October 30, so not sure what you mean by last and final one.capt_Z wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 8:43 pmLast and the final one.Reinhard wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 6:20 pmNext ground school is October 10.twinpratts wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 4:45 pm Anyone know when the next Groundschools for 2023 are slated to be?

Don’t listen to capt_Z. He just likes to stir the pot from mother‘s basement.
Are you sure you made the right decision? You may find yourself rather disappointed in the next few months.
Edit: also, enjoy the 4 days of CRM toolbox opening. It’s awesome.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I have absolutely zero context around the negativity at the moment… What is the expectation for the next few months?? Do we genuinely believe this company is about to go bankrupt?CaptDukeNukem wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 10:21 pmDon’t listen to capt_Z. He just likes to stir the pot from mother‘s basement.

It is, however, failing to meet its block hour obligations under the AC CPA due to pilot attrition issues. This is publicly disclosed.
Where that leads is speculation on what happens going forward.
Re: New hire bids
Jazz itself won’t bankrupt Chorus. It’s a big company with other revenue streams. I wouldn’t be shocked if a change in Jazz ownership revenue is offset by additional leasing revenue etc.

Such as scamming young impressionable pilots by mentoring them for a fee when the rest of us do so pro bono because someone once upon a time… helped us?
Go stuff yourself Keith. You ought to be ashamed, you remind me of Benny Hinn…
