Add another 4 percent to contract expectations.
Governments calling to stop interest rate hikes, but they refuse to stop printing money.
BNN Sept 19:
Canada’s headline inflation rate has gone up for the second straight month, and one economist predicts that the larger-than-expected increase is likely to keep interests rates high until next spring, at the earliest. Inflation rose to four per cent in August, according to Statistics Canada’s consumer price index report released Tuesday, spurred mainly by high food and gasoline prices.
Time to send a new survey out about contract expectations.

If the government tells you inflation is 4%, it’s really much higher. And it’s only going to get worse till this incompetent regime is turfed.

Rest assured that the bulk of the people who "may" have followed that advice because they had "excess cash laying around" weren't likely voting for a "financial infant" masquerading as a PM.Big Pistons Forever wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 7:59 amFortunately all those people who followed Mr. Poilievre's financial advice to buy cryptocoin as an inflation hedge did really well....Oh wait......never mind![]()
To be clear, the folks who had "savings to invest in crypto" weren't likely left leaning Marxist Liberals living off Government "generosity".

Exactly. Would you rather a PM who doesn't really think about economics and believes that budgets will magically balance themselves, or one that tries innovative ideas?Inverted2 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 1:49 pmI think they were referring to this speech by the clown prince while he was obviously quite high on something. *sorry this antique forum software does not imbed YouTube videos properly.![]()

At least now the government is pissed at the company for cheaping out on IT labor. Good timing.
