Next time you vote, ask your politician if he supports this collusion keeping the people whom live here from making a respectable wage.

There are 1000 spots available across the entire transportation sector. Do you truly believe that the 20 pilots who come over without a license to fly here are going to be a threat to your low wages?

No surprise. Who else wants to come here live in their van and make no money. Yeah like 2 billion other people. Welcome to the 3rd world one step closer.

There is no labour shortage in this country. If you don't believe me try applying for a job. I did. I applied to every big box, fast food, grocery store, courier service in the country to try to supplement my income. Guess what? I only got one interview after 2 months. It was at Walmart as a grocery stocker. It was a group interview so I got a chance to see my competition. I was the only person in the room with conversational level English, other than the dyed-hair heavily tattooed HR lady conducting the interview. Guess what? Rejected again! Even though I was the only person to answer all the questions correctly and in an intelligible manner. There is NO shortage of labour in this country. They just don't want YOU! They want indentured servants that have no marketable skills to ever leave their company. The corporations have convinced the politicians of this labour shortage in order to maximize profits.

It’s happening everywhere.Just look south of the border. Your local union is doing the same thing. Typically first generation immigrants are the easiest to manipulate. The Vietnamese, Indian, European immigrants have had at least one generation to get wise to these antics. Now the government has been told we need more cheap space labour by the business community. Check Afghanistan, lots from African conflict zones and ofcourse the Ukraine however the last one will be short lived as they have more western thinking processes. The Problem will be housing but slave labour slaps that stuff together fast and the developers are ready to build that garbage. Canada is fast becoming an absolute dump and I would advise people to look elsewhere for retirement for sure. Change will not come with a change of government either that’s just a scam.

Sad state of the Canadian aviation world when you work at AC and need to try and get a job at ANYWHERE to survive.Dry Guy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 8:46 am There is no labour shortage in this country.
