Hi all long time lurker first time poster.
I have been on standby for FSS in 2024 since early August. This has probably been asked before but what are my chances? I have been in this application process since before the pandemic and am sadly desperate for this job. Have been studying for IATS/ABC like crazy along with the other pre employment conditions.

It happens, I got called from standby 3 days before the course started. Just be ready to go and take the opportunity if it comes. Anecdotally I know of other standby offers that turned into firm offers for a future course even though they weren’t called from standby.

Congrats on the standby offer!
I was given a standby offer for FSS in Nov for the april 2023 course and about a week later was given the full offer. Hopefully you get the full offer.

don't lose hope if it takes awhile, I was standby for a November 2023 course since April and just got the call this week
