The level of French required to get by at the tower depends on the position and the tasks involved. On the other hand, if you are applying for a job as a technician, a cleaner, a gardener, or a cook, you may not need to have such a high level of French, as you will be mostly working behind the scenes. However, you will still need to have a basic understanding of French, as you will have to follow instructions, read signs and labels, and report any issues or incidents in French.
