Usually 2 weeks is the average. I’d send the recruiter you were in contact with a polite follow up.

Hm, that seems strange. They should get back to you either way. If you interviewed they’ll let you know ye or nay.

Any chance it went into a junk or spam folder?

Maybe they stopped hiring after you did the interview. The job postings are still up on their website though.

I was pfo'd this pass summer with a regional and two months later they emailed me for an interview. Did the interview and they offered me the job but I told them because they pfo'd me I took another offer. So I got a conditional offer and I asked what the condition was and they said 'its for me to call them back when/if I decide to proceed."

Don't give up a lot of times it's just picking names out of a hat for them. Candidate falls through and then they have to embarrass themselves calling you back.

I think I’d be more embarrassed if I were you, you were literally not good enough until they had no other good options. You think HR feels shame they had to call you back, that’s pretty funny. They were just filling in a gap and you were close enough but still a last option but you keep bragging if it makes you feel better!

Or the job ad I applied to expired thus triggering the email to everyone who applied that wasn’t selected but still left in the pool for the new ad release the following month. But hey, you’re the one that seems to have it all figured out, big shot.

I actually do, I’m quite informed when it comes to our hiring, unless you changed you entire profile including all contact information, your file was fully intact. Were you invited for a second interview without the online screening?
What this means, your first interview was not successful and you were likely given a reapply in 6 months PFO, the fact you got a second interview before that literally means they were looking for someone who was close but maybe not as bad as other candidates, you were a last resort and shouldn’t be bragging about this, in fact your attitude tells me exactly why you didn’t make it the first try, come on over, I’ll set you straight in the sim.
I love the ones with huge egos, it takes one session to knowck you back to reality, the ones that aren’t usually have a real hard time with the training.
Big shot, lol thanks for the laugh kid!

Ok, I’m guessing you don’t know what a PFO is, I went back a read your idiotic comments. It appears, you didn’t meet their requirements and received an email stating they would not proceed at that time, 2 months later they were desperate and decided to lower their standards ad interview you. To which apparently they couldn’t see what was in front of their faces and offered you a job, you turned it down because some other idiot hired you.
Somehow, you’ve taken this as a good thing, to sum up, you weren’t good enough, then they got to the bottom of the barrel and you were good enough.
To be fair, you were initially told to please f$#k off by a “regional” to which I assumed was Jazz, if it was, I’m sure glad you turned it down. You seem like a difficult person to get along with, me too but it comes from dealing with your type, so it’s justified!

People like you make me embarrassed of Porter’s training department. You are representing us in a terrible light and I hope to god that your comments are more posturing than how you really approach candidates in the sim.

…I’m quite sure cdvavater is actually at Jazz…many postings in Jazz forum to support this..fwiw.

..and Blue…indeed, don’t give up, keep building hours, go to WJE or Jazz, get the rating and if, after that, come over if you’re not happy with the wawcon’s over there. You wouldn’t be the first to update your file at Porter the day after your initial linecheck.

People need to go back and read the entire conversation before commenting, however not at Porter, and to be clear I’m not responsible for knocking arrogant pilots down, the reality does it. I have had several lately come in and think their shit don’t stink and when they realize it does, they come back down to earth and accept they’re not the aviation gods they thought they were.
I was responding to a poster who bragged about a PFO from a regional only to have them call back two months later whereby he was able to tell them he got a new job(great for him) and they offered him a conditional offer. Anyhow I was pointing out I wouldn’t be bragging that he was a last resort but I digress!

Blueangel7, sorry to hear about your situation, something will come up and it usually turns out to be for the best in the long run.
Just keep building your hours, look for a twin turbine job and maybe if you get a chance do some left seat of that, you’ll be where you want to be in no time.
As for Encore, I’m sure they have enough or maybe too many FOs, which is why they are looking to interview upgradable candidates right now. Try Jazz, if I’m one of your instructors, don’t worry, come in with a good attitude and willing to learn, you’ll be fine!
