Delays PPL License

Post by Doum90 »

Hello everyone,
Was wondering if any of you guys knew what are the current delay for deliverance of a PPL license. Passed my flight test on aug. 28 but still haven't received the license yet. My student pilot license is only suppose to be valid for 90 days after my flight test. Does anyone know when I should expect to receive said license? When calling TC, there is an automatic message talking about RCN-203-2022. Does this apply to me?

Thanks

Dominique

You can search for TC Exemption number NCR-020-2023 which basically allows you to continue using your temporary license until you receive your new license in the mail.

Personally, I would fly. Even though TC puts an expiry on things like temp licenses and C of R, the CAR's place the obligation of issuing a permanent document on the Minister. The Minister can't assign that obligation to the document holder.

I have found the document. I was under the impression it applied to pilot that already had a license... on tc website I see all my evaluation results but under the license it only shows my student permit...

I have the same issue. I sent my application in early July, didn't receive anything for a couple months. I emailed TC in October asking about it and they said my application had been processed already, they're just having issues with the printing company for the aviation document booklets, so everything is delayed. Still haven't received anything yet though...

Ok this is the second time. Where on TC website you can see your profile, results, licences? How do you gain access

I think maybe you’re looking for General Aviation Online Services?

Nah it’s still Covid #newnormal

This is all part of our transition to 3rd world status. We went from A+ to C on safety. TC is very hands off… but it’s dangerous out there so understandable. Wear your mask or stay home everyone!
