Good for Porter, going all in on the Embraer. The same day they announce a partnership with Transat.

Exciting! Sure are a lot of airframes in the Canadian market now! Where will the pilots come from? I have yet to fly on Porter's E2 but I'm sure tempted to just book a JS flight and check it out. Been hearing great things. Congrats!

Don’t!!!!!
The JS on the E2 is a JS from hell.
Come by for a chat. We’d love to give a short guided tour.
You have been warned.

Pretty sure he meant the reciprocal jumpseat agreement. Since you cannot actually book the jumpseat.

Honestly, you will not be disappointed. Very comfortable, and the back end crews do a fantastic job.flying4dollars wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 8:30 pm Exciting! …we can have some “other airline” pilots in the actual jumpseat now (finally!), but yes, it’s incredibly uncomfortable. Choose a YOW turn to get the flavour of the machine upfront, a longer flight in the back for the flavour of the company.
Welcome aboard.
