Pretty late - but Excel is excellent! Super efficient with your time, money, and they know the TC requirements inside and out. Also good Class E with International customs, stil most navaids, and a great amount of busy/quiet activity.MechanicMike wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 11:03 am Im having difficulty finding info/reviews on these flight schools. TC - Transport Canada - our regulating body over ALL aviationMechanicMike wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 8:18 pm I just discovered your reply. I never got a notification.

Tc requirements
Class E
Navaids
Busy/quiet activity
Class E - Type of airspace. All classified as A, B, C, D, E, or F
Navaids - sigh...lol long before GPS. So NDB, VOR, DME (some still in use but being phased out for Space based everything navigational)
Busy/quiet activity - means a good blend of traffic with quiet time so as a new student you're not super overwhelmed like if you were in Class C (YYC as an example although no training allowed there, and def Class B - no Class A in Canada) Class Es can be super quiet which sometimes you miss the ability to train with a good amount of activity to prepare for reality lol.
Hope that helps!
This too. Happy reading!
