AMEs have expressed fury at WestJet’s “comprehensive” offer, which proposes a five-year contract with wage increases limited to 3.5%, 2%, 2%, 1%, and 1% in successive years. The low offer was made notwithstanding WestJet’s admission that it cannot fill AME vacancies due to its low entry-level wages.

Even more ridiculous than the pilot side of things. Can't find engineers. Let's increase our wages by half of the inflation. That should solve the issues.
