FAA Bi-annual Flight Check Ride

Post by Samolin »

Does anyone know of an outfit or a contact person who is authorized to do Bi-Annual Ride for FAA Commercial Licence and I would prefer and much appreciated info on outfits in Ontario or Eastern Canada.

I have a Multi-Engine Commercial and looking to do my Bi-Annual for a potential job offer in the Middle East.

Thanks a lot guys/gals.

I believe as long there is a CFI on board...it don't matter what aircraft you are flying..

I have a Question about an FAA PPL (Always been curious)

I know its a bunch of paperwork to convert a PPL Canadian to FAA PPL...do they send you a whole separate license...or is it sort of added on to my Canadian license...like in the endorsment section? Dumb Question...wondered what the end product was hehe. Thanks!

FAA PPL

Post by Samolin »

The only major difference between an FAA PPL and a Canadian PPL is the FAA PPL also includes night rating in it. without a night rating, the FAA does not issue their licenses.

The only reason they issue an FAA PPL with no concerns is so that you can fly an American Registered aircraft was a PIC so long as your Canadian PPL permits the flight rules (by day and/or by night, vfr and/or ifr).

If you need more info, let me know, I will try to help as much as possible.
