Chunk of metal falls through Kitchener, ON home's roof

Post by bodyflyer2 »

Could be aircraft related.

https://kitchener.ctvnews.ca/unidentifi ... -1.6841870

Happened Mon Apr 8, 2024.

"CTV News reached out to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada who said they have no record of this incident. "

The object looks rather solid. Some balance weight? I dunno.

Bucking bar.

All the parts are accounted for. Just not Spirit Aerosystem's tools.

For those not wanting to read through the article: It was a blade/tooth from tree clearing machinery that went flying after it hit a rock.

-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1

Haha, well, that's, kind of good -- aviation in no way at fault -- but also sort of a let down!

Pretty heavy duty weed wacker being used to clear whole trees...

Most likely some kind of mulcher. Those things are hardcore.
