Having to sign in twice

Why is it that I have to sign in twice on this site, after making comments the site requires me to sign in again, is there something wrong with this site.

I get signed out sometimes when the site reloads...usually only if I forget to check "keep me signed in" though. Can be a little finicky sometimes

I guess technically it says "remember me"

Even if you do that, it only seems to remember you for a week or so. Then, because the site doesn't have https there is no way of remembering your password on safari, so the username and password need to be entered manually every time.

I get that part, but after getting signed in and my username comes up if I go and write a topic and then try to post it it askes me to sign in again, but I'm already signed in, then I sign in again and all my post gets deleted, is there a time limit to complete a post???
