It should be noted that due to COVID and other technical issues, Transport Canada is unable to provide personnel licensing statistics after 2018.

Serisouly though. It looked liked they counted medicals that were done in office. Phone in medicals and attestations i don't think got counted.

The numbers have been rapidly declining since 2015, it’s not just that.

There has never been a shortage EVER, there is a shortage of people willing to work for domestically however. Now these awesome operators are leaning even harder than ever on TFW’s for not only pilots but AME’s too!
