Aviation personnel licensing statistics 2007-2018 (2019-2021 REDACTED)

Post by Bug_Stomper_01 »

Aviation personnel licensing statistics
From: Transport Canada

The following charts and documents display the Summary of Personnel Licences Statistics by year for the period 2007-2018.

Aeroplane Pilot Licences Statistics
Helicopter Pilot Licences Statistics
Other Pilot Licences and Permits Statistics
Air Traffic Controller Statistics
Pilot Permit and Licence Statistics by Age, Province and Region
Aeroplane and Helicopter Pilot Licences Statistics by Type and Citizenship – Canadian and Non-Canadian
It should be noted that due to COVID and other technical issues, Transport Canada is unable to provide personnel licensing statistics after 2018.

Does anyone know why transport Canada redacted 2019-2021?

The numbers have been rapidly declining since 2015, it’s not just that.

Is the mythical pilot shortage real.

I already got a pay raise, is it rude to ask for another a month later?

There has never been a shortage EVER, there is a shortage of people willing to work for 🐕 💩 domestically however. Now these awesome operators are leaning even harder than ever on TFW’s for not only pilots but AME’s too!
