Some years ago, I actually believed that the world was better than many years ago, in the sense that woman were treated the same as men. Over the years, I have been quite disapointed to see how wrong I was. I still don't understand what the problem is. Whether you have a dick, no dick, brown hair, red hair, dark skin, light skin, I just don't see the difference. Ever person is different from one another, no matter what their genders are. I'm sure there are women pilots that are bitches, just like there are male pilots who are bitches. There are men who won't shut up about [whatever the other pilot doesn't care about] in the cockpit, there are women who are very professional... It has nothing to do with gender. Everybody is different regardless. I've probably had more farting competitions with girls than guys.
Anyways, I'm left wondering if people will ever get over that gender means nothing with respect to getting a job done.

Are women better pilots than men?
I assume that when article is posted, that in most cases it is done so with a level of seriousness, and not simply to waste everyone’s time.
That said, I would like to offer a serious answer to the originally posted question.
Are women better pilots than men? This question has been addressed several times during the history of aviation, by several different organizations.
The conclusion seems to be, “it depends”.
Some of the facts that have been discovered are:
That, normally, woman pilots make much better decisions than men, however they take longer to make those decisions,
That woman pilots are more receptive to change, and are more receptive to suggestion towards a better course of action, than their male counterparts (Better CRM skills)
That women are less likely to push a bad situation based on testosterone. (I.e.: Will simply go-around, opposed to trying to “Save” a bad approach.
However,
The same studies have proven that male pilots are much better “Aircraft handlers”. (I.e.: Strong Crosswind techniques, etc).
Men make better immediate decisions during critical times, and can prioritize the necessary events during an emergency condition better than women pilots (Command decision making).
Personally, one of the best pilots I’ve known, and worked with, is a woman who is now a senior Captain at Jetblue Airways. Also, one of the better “Stick and Rudder” pilots I’ve known, and flown with, is a woman who now is a pilot for Kenn Borek Air.
My two cents worth. I look forward to the rebuttal.

If I were the owner of a company that had a cargo dept. and passenger...I wouldn't place men that have weekly manicure appointments in a Hawker 748 to unload cargo in Taktiyuktuphuck, just as I would not have an all woman crew that each weighed 90 each doing the same.
With the passenger side of things...if you had the personality of a wet dish rag...there is no way you'll go anywhere near a client of the company.
With regards to your CRM-crosswind handling remarks...are women pilots better? They are human and not immune to human/pilot error just as much as men are.

I've flown with great talents from both gender's. Just like I've flown with the kind that should consider underwater firefighting as a new career, from both sexes. It is all in your attitude, and predisposed skills to a certain extent.

Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but the comment about paying female pilots less lit a fuse.
There is certainly one (prominent) company that, with a non-published salary scale does not pay female pilots what the boys get.
Of course, the same managers tolerate and promote any females who may be inclined to indulge in extra-hours activities, even if they have terrible pilot skills.
But then, that is the end effect of penis-brains.

UUUHHHHthere was not a nec]kMMMM Flight Suits
I too met a Air Force Captain, should have been a model, absolutely stunning and looked great in a flight suit. We were at the Abbotsford Airshow, and a bunch of the pilots got together, a buddy of mine, is a Pilot in the US Army and he invited me along, there were snowbirds, american jet jocks, some of the aerobatic flyers and we headed to Sumas, I had met this lady the day before an lo and behold here she was, we walked into this bar in Sumas, and not a neck in the bar went unstrained when she walked in. Well this angel of the sky's ( Sorry Guys) she was just one of us, except that she looked a hell of lot better in a jump suit than any of us ever will.
To once again too slip them surly bonds of Earth
