The Sunwest bonds were traditionally double the cost of the training. $24k for the Beech 1900 a few years ago. Would be interesting to hear if they’ve dropped these to be competitive in the current market.

Lear was about 28K and 604 was about 38-40k both 2 years, no bond for captain upgrade, most recent bond overwrites previous

What’s the bond on the 1900 and how long of a commitment?

Hopefully the hiring as of late and general shortage of pilots will put an end to the training bonds…. Maybe companies can use this as a benefit and not have bonds anymore. I understand why, but a good place to work won’t need a bond!

This market where in the last decade we have seen wages triple, active head hunting, and severe scarcities of pilots because they all want to make minimum wages at Air Canada?
