Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
I used it for IATRA and found it good. It's a good study material since it also gives you extended explanation of each answer.
For sure I'll use it for SAMRA/SARON now that those are available as well, instead of paying several hundred bucks for aerocourse. Hoping by the time I need to write the exams, they will expand it from the current 8/8 exams to something like 15 similar to IATRA.

For the iATRA it's great with the 15 practice exams and all the info and slides especially for $15!

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Did my CPAER last month, used Pilottraining & TheWisePilot, scored a sweet 90+.
Go for it, well worth the $30.

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Has anyone recently used the Wise Pilot ATPL (SARON & SAMRA) Question Bank to prep for they TC Exam? How are the question? Difficult, Easy? Are they accurate and without errors? Never used Wise Pilots, but have heard that the IATRA prep had several wrong answers... So I am just curious. Price for Practice Exam is very very reasonable...
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Used it for my cpl exam. And this is the only resource I used. I scored a 77% with 2 weeks of actual studying. Could’ve gotten over 80 if I did better in nav! Oh well, it’s behind me now. Overall very much recommend

Any one used it for PPAER ?
And close it was of the actual TC one, and if the score of the practice exams were realistic ?

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
My instructor told me about it and said he used it for his instructor rating. The PPL was really good.
Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Hi Guys..has anyone used Wisepilot for INRAT? I just used their CAPAER set of questions and it was helpful. Any feedback on the INRAT?

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Used it for the INRAT in September 2024, it was really similar to the actual questions. I didn't pass the first time using pilottraining (found there to be way too much info that wasn't the most relevant to the exam, but I did use it for CPAER and thought it was great), but used Wise Pilot for studying the second time and passed the inrat w a 82%. Felt waaaay more prepped having used it

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Did you use anything other than wisepilot and pilottraining for your second time writing the INRAT? Or was the only difference between your first and second attempt the wisepilot? Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
I primarily used Wise Pilot for the question banks, then also referenced and read the Sharper Edge book a lot - it was really good at outlining everything you need to know. I made sure I was really confident with the CAPGEN, which came in handy during my IFR training this past month. I also read through the AIM to just pick up little facts that they ask questions about - I believe it is the RAC section that is the most helpful.
I actually didn't even refer to pilot training for the second time - the practice exams they give you are pretty different from the actual exam - no chase charts on the exam to find TAS, etc (but that is helpful for multi/ifr ground training). HOWEVER, I have been told that practice exam 8 is VERY similar to one of the versions of the INRAT ... unlucky for me, I didn't get that version either time.

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Thank you- that’s helpful. I am writing my INRAT next week. I used pilottraining.ca to start and found it overwhelming with the amount of information. Switched to inratexamprep which has been great. I am now just circling through the wise pilot question bank and rereading all notes. I will look into the Sharper’s Edge book. Thanks again for your response.flying_in_bc18 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 3:49 pm I primarily used Wise Pilot for the question banks, then also referenced and read the Sharper Edge book a lot - it was really good at outlining everything you need to know. Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
Hey Guys,
Just an update. Had my INRAT today. Exam done and dusted
.
Although this time around just 5-6 questions from the Wisepilot practise exams.
Some questions were more like trick questions, really trying to give you a hard time.
Anyways, don't have to study the damn thing ever again!!!
Thanks to all who posted comments on this page.

Re: The Wise Pilot - Feedback
I wrote my PPAER on 11/11 and I got 95%. I did my ground school on Harv's Air (pilottraining.ca) but I also did the practice exams on Wise Pilot. Some questions were straight out of the Wise Pilot, so I can say I highly recommend them. Worth the 23 bucks for me.
You can use ROC2PPL or PSTAR2PPL for 10% off btw!
