AUS CASA B1.3 to Canadian License

Post by Jarvos »

G'day,
I am a B1.3 (turbine rotary wing) licensed engineer in Australia and am keen to get qualified in the land of the great white north.
Would love to hear from someone who has done it recently, and their hardships with the process and if its easier to use the Kiwi CAA license instead.
Finished my Diploma of Aero skills mechanical with Aviation Australia in 2023, so have good recent proof of industry experience with Apprenticeship and Engine/ Airframe journals as well as certificates from the part 147 organisation. Also any indication of the Canadian system recognising type ratings?
I have Canadian citizenship so no dramas with working rights.
Churs :)
