Yes that's true, and the result goes without saying in its due process. But her job is to present the TA and let the pilots vote on it. Not make a public tantrum to push the vote to yes. She is comprised, and now has to go. She did great until the 11th hour, but now she's fallen.lownslow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 9:02 amMy view on all this is she sees a ‘no’ vote as a vote of non-confidence in her leadership. Fair enough though maybe every leader falling on their sword for every miscalculation is a bit much. I bet the company wants to see a no just as badly as anyone.AirCandida wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:58 am I'm guessing Charlene was offered a future management position.

Not really a rumor. Charlene explicitly made the statement in her webinar that the Minister was in tbe hotel for several days leading up to the deal.Canadaflyer46 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:33 am How has this rumour not been put to bed yet? If the minister was exerting threats to the MEC you can bet your ass it would have been mentioned at the first roadshow.
The union didn’t dare to give strike notice and made a U-turn in the final minutes despite a mediocre TA and a 98% strike vote. Charlene has said she endorses this TA. Case closed.
