Re: Execaire CJ4 YYC job
Had a buddy quit there 2 years ago. The pay sucked, and it was a 24/7 on call deal with no scheduled days off. All comes down to what you can negotiate it. They bond the shit out of you. Hopefully things have improved since then.

I think the chief is moving onto greener pastures, not 100% sure he was the root cause, but usually the chief sets the tone.Canadaflyer46 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 6:53 am Had a buddy quit there 2 years ago. Lots of inaccurate information posted here.
The Chief Pilot did not leave for greener pastures and its not a 24/7 on call deal.
There will be two pilots assigned to the plane. 604 flights will be flown either single pilot or two crew depending on schedule and all 704 flights will be two crew only.
Since there is only two pilots assigned there is a minimum of 24hr notice for call outs.
If you have other questions PM me.
Cheers.

How many scheduled days off per month? As in - you know in advance, not a day "off" in hindsightRoar wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:03 pm Lots of inaccurate information posted here.

Any owner who buys a 8-14 ish million dollar jet, but is so cheap they are only willing to hire 2 pilots and is willing around single pilot is probably not going to be great to work for. Major red flag.propfeather wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 7:42 pmHow many scheduled days off per month? Doesn’t seem like anything has changed there. I was shocked at the pay and conditions there two years ago, had hoped it had improved. Evidently not.

Gee, I wonder why?
Remember gents, cup full of Baileys first thing and a shitty cell phone are your friends working for these outfits. Don’t forget to call fatigue and get everything put in writing.
