We all know that ACPA would have presented that 30% raise contract as the best they could do, ALPA brought it up to 42%. So no they are not the same. FYI 1.8% is tax deductible so if your upper tax bracket is Captain wages you are paying 0.9% or less- a 0.4% increase from ACPA if I'm not mistaken
I'll give you a free math lesson.

whether you paid the ACPA 1.2% dues or the ALPA 1.8% dues, they are both tax deductible.

My friend who is a 777 skipper paid $5000 in ALPA dues in 2023...

The previous year he paid $3200 to ACPA...

Which scenario does he have more take him pay??

Woohoo $1800 extra. Now how much is he saving by not contributing the extra 1.5% deduction going to the over-funded DB pension.

Did ACPA ever manage to fix that during the 10 years?

Man you are a special kind of person

That extra 12% pay raise on that 777 skipper more than paid for his extra $1800 in fees

Everyone may be disappointed in some manner or another about the recent TA, but I'll make it abundantly clear, ACPA was a cancer of massive proportions, which still plagues the current ALPA MEC and has made their job tremendously hard. The climb from that depression of an agreement is long and steep.

The fact you still argue for that dumpster fire is a testament to your absolute lack of...just being a good person. Polar radiation must be affecting your ability to use whatever grey matter you have left.
