More likely Flair is presciently trying to grab another source before something upstream happens. It would be nice if they could survive with Canadian backing.
From who, with no security to offer, and an air of, put charitably, of smoke, as you say.

I can’t imagine the terms at this stage would be palatable, though I could guess….

I should have worded it differently, I meant Flair may be seeing proverbial smoke from 777.

“credit card processing fee. 1.4% - 2.4%. A processing fee charged to customers who opt to use a credit card when making a purchase through flyflair.com”
From the Flair website, there’s chats about this, who else does this?
I don’t have a visa or Mastercard debit card, that’s the only way to avoid the fees, what about consumer protection, trip protection, I know my world elite travel Mastercard protects me but do these debit cards have any protection?
What other airlines do this?

let's try to stay on topic. I deleted like 20 offtopic posts in this thread and I'm getting cranky about it.

They will be done by the new year. Looking like this more and more as they're announcing their dollar base fare.

Good Christ, such nonsense($1fares) is infuriating. The travelling vacationer certainly knows the difference in this, you can’t get a small dark roast at Tim’s for a buck let alone fly. Cost of luggage, carry-on, seat selection, on line cost to book etc is well known. I am not in a position to say if this is the last breath of a sinking airline as I don’t know airline operations, debt financing and the like, however like rest of us we can spot silliness and this is a classical example.

SPirit's share price dropped 30% on news of possible bankruptcy filing. If spirit can't make a go of it, what does that say for Flair with higher cost of operations, and poorer consumers than usa consumer??
