We're selling Seneca PPC's. They're going like hot cakes for the low low price of $15,000USD. Wanna sign up?

A jetstream PPC will cost you your soul and the respect of other hard working pilots that boycot paying for PPCs.

LoL..

Thanks, just posted for fun.. Since Peace Air's ad was for "current PPC" don't think they even needed a cpl or atpl, just the ppc...

I didn't think you could get a PPC in Canada without the proper license (ie. CPL/IATRA or ATPL for a Jetstream).

jetstream PPC

$5000 would cover flight training in the AC then there is a ride another 1.0 1.5 of flighttime as well as ground school and briefings. Flightsafety quoted $11,000 for candidates with a ground school.

Yeah I guess my reading comprehension skills weren't up to par the day I applied for that job, cause I received a response within 24 hours saying:

"Thanks for your application. Since you have no PPC on the BA31/32, I will not be considering your application seriously. "

At least they took the time to let me know my resume went into the garbage... :)

Great response, I would email them back - "Great because after that reply, I am no longer interested in considering your company seriously"

with an attitude like that I hope the f.kers cannot find any PPC'd types and have to pay training then have the guy go fly for the competition.

I had the same response...
It's a kind of add to aim somebody specific, they are trying to hire somebody from the competition, can't you see that ?
But be patient, next year will be better and they will hire without PPC, time after time...

Yes I can see that. But if they dont find a PPC'd pilot the next logical place to search would be in the applications they have recently recieved. If you have all the requirments minus the PPC why not apply?

Seems like a condecending and unnessary response. I hope the market turn around to the point that arrogant companies will be begging for pilots.

They HAD no requirments... Hence my "how much for a PPC."

If you wanted to be considered without one, and they honestly didn't get a person with one, you forgot to add, "will be willing to PAY FOR ONE."(despite what sully might think in his thread)

I'm sure if it came to non PPC'd people, they would probably train people within the company (as they hopefully have proven they can read).

And I would hope any applicants that stated 'Willing to pay for PPC' were blacklisted...

Unlike Sully's corp if they advertise "must have PPC" I doubt they'd train...
