I’m planning a cross country out east in the spring. Newfoundland to be specific.

The only reliable places for 100LL on the island are Deer Lake and St Johns. You can call Ganger flight college in advance and ask if they will sell it to you but you need to pre arrange. The only real place in Labrador is Goose Bay.
Sydney NS would be your stop on the way out, and likely on the way back. Only 2.5 hrs from St John's in your Arrow. Make sure you have a raft and make sure the weather in St John's is SOLID before you leave as you won't have enough to make it back to Sydney. Gander could be a viable alternate but make sure they promise you some gas first.
The CFS has all this info, and always call the airports before you do the trip. Good luck.

I had planned this trip back in 2017 but never made it. We ended up spending a week in PEI waiting on VFR weather. The flight school in Gander was going to sell us fuel, worth asking.

Nice new FBO and 100LL available in YPD (Port Hawkesbury) as well. A good alternative to YQY.
